[Academic Advising Jumpstart]

[Office of Academic Advising]

As a transfer student you may have specific questions about how University of Oregon’s general education requirements work. If you are starting in the Fall term you will want to attend May Advising, IntroDUCKtion or Week of Welcome. This tutorial has been prepared to give you some basic information and help you get started with identifying questions to ask at your advising orientation.

Using your Degree Audit Report (DAR) while completing this tutorial will help you identify the general education coursework you need to work on at the UO. Click here to log onto to Duckweb for a copy of your DAR. You will need your UO ID# and PAC# to review your degree audit.

We encourage you to complete this tutorial and get a “jump start” on the academic side of your college experience. Be sure to write down any questions you may have for your adviser at orientation!
