Challenge FIGs

Some students enter the UO looking for academically rigorous opportunities as soon as they step on campus. Challenge FIGs are designed with such eager and ambitious students in mind.  The courses in the Challenge FIGs are at the introductory level, but because they are often smaller in size, faculty can engage students in deeper analysis of material than would be possible in a large lecture course. Another way the objectives of a Challenge FIG are met is by asking students to get a head start on course material with a shared summer reading selected by the College Connections faculty.
